What Type of Funeral Service?

Family preference and tradition often help in this choice, together with knowing the wishes of your loved one.
You may wish to have a service at a church followed by a cortege to the cemetery or crematorium where the final committal is held. Alternatively you may choose to have the complete service at the church, crematorium chapel or the graveside. You may decide to have a private (family) committal at either the cemetery or crematorium.

There is no correct format a funeral must follow.

Len Russell Funeral Director has a modern funeral chapel available for your use, which seats approximately 80-100 people. Our chapel can be used for burial, cremation or memorial services, with either the whole service being conducted in the chapel or alternatively you may choose to follow the chapel service with a committal service at the cemetery or crematorium.
